Atlantic Ocean properties:
These were prepared by AOML and show mean temperatures at 6
depths, data availability, variance, amplitude and phase of
the annual harmonic.
Indian Ocean properties:
These were prepared at the Joint Australian Facility for Ocean
Observing Systems, JAFOOS. Samples are shown of temperature
analyses, anomalies, analysis errors and the background climatologies
for the sea surface, 150m and 400m. The samples here are for
July, 1994 only. Also shown are examples of analyses generated
along frequently repeated XBT lines in the Indian Ocean. A complete

Pacific Ocean properties:
These were prepared by Warren White at Scripps. Samples are
shown of sea surface temperature anomalies, temperature anomalies
at 200m, 300m, 400m, heat storage anomalies from 0-400 and mixed
layer depth by month for the years 1955 to 1999. Also available
are monthly climatologies for these quantities. The samples
here are for the month of July only. A complete set of figures
