The collection contains data measured by profiling floats and contributed by a number of researchers. Included are profiles of temperature and salinity data, whatever surface locations have been received and whatever other observations may have been provided. The data have undergone no standardized quality control checking, only whatever was done by the originator. Users are cautioned to keep this in mind when using the data. |
