Rosanna Sumagaysay-Aouda, Victor Zlotnicki and Kelley Case (all at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, JPL), designed this folder and created all its data files, browse images, and much of its documentation.
Brian Beckley is the primary producer and tester of the altimeter Pathfinder data which are input to these grids, in collaboration with Richard Ray, Yan-Min Wang, Chet Koblinsky (all at the Goddard Space Flight Center, GSFC) and Victor Zlotnicki. Mr. Beckley and Dr. Wang are employed by Raytheon/ITSS.
Numerous scientists, and both NASA and CNES engineers contributed algorithms and models to the Topex/Poseidon MGDR-B. Robert Benada (JPL) wrote the T/P User's Guide included here.
Jake Hamby (then at the California Polytechnic University at Pomona, and JPL) wrote the Java code to animate the browse images, based on an idea from Kai Jancke (Bundesamt fur Seeschiffahrt und Hydrographie, Hamburg, Germany). Robert Morris (JPL) made additional enhancements to the JAVA code.
This folder was funded by EOSDIS, the Data and Information System of NASA's Earth Observing System. The work was performed at the EOSDIS PO.DAAC, the Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Donald Collins manages the PO-DAAC.
